These trousers are inspired by a 1920s opera coat. The original coat featured a contrast collar with a silk-stitched geometric pattern—likely Eastern-inspired, according to trends of the time. We have repeated the embroidery down the side seams and across the cuffs of these pants, which are cut with a mid-rise and a straight leg.
